Welcome to our two new HA Board directors

The HA Board is pleased to advise the appointment of two new directors, Rod Hill and Georgia Rivers, bringing us to a total of seven current directors. 

Rod and Georgia bring extensive experience and skills in governance and marketing. Rod Hill has also accepted the role of Chair, with Collin Acton as Deputy Chair. Josie Ludwig and Rod Bower will continue as Treasurer and Secretary respectively.

Rod Hill has recently retired as Professor of Physiology and Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences at Charles Sturt University. He is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. See more here.

Georgia Rivers has worked for many years at large not-for-profit arts companies including Opera Australia as a marketing director and event producer. In these roles she has raised large amounts through sales, fundraising and corporate and government partnerships. Georgia is currently also a director at Landcare NSW and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
