National Secular Lobby
Australia's National Secular Lobby provides a stronger and more active voice for the nation's secular majority. Given the result of the 2016 national Census, the objectives of our national secular structure are relevant and timely.
The NSL is pro-secular rather than anti-religious. They work towards the separation of religion and state, and the removal of undue religious privilege in legislation.
They are a flexible team of secular specialists headed by high-profile ambassadors able to liaise directly with senior media executives and parliamentarians. There is no public membership, though they do welcome public support.
The NSL works constructively with Humanists Australia and other pro-secular groups around Australia to advance a national secular agenda.
